Korean actress Song Hye Kyo turns 43

Actress Song Hye Kyo celebrated her birthday by spending a joyful time with friends and sharing warm moments.
On November 22, actress Park Sol Mi posted photos from Song Hye Kyo’s birthday celebration on her SNS story, along with messages saying “Happy Birthday To U Kyo” and “Lovely.”

Born on November 22, 1981, Song Hye Kyo is now 43 years old (Korean age). She will return to the big screen in the upcoming movie Dark Nuns, set to premiere on January 24 next year. The film depicts the story of two nuns trying to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. Meanwhile, Park Sol Mi married actor Han Jae Suk in 2013 and has two daughters.

MDL’s synopsis of the K-movie reads, “Hee Joon gets possessed by an evil spirit. Sister Junia takes it upon herself to save the boy aided along the way by Sister Michaela who decides to help her even though chaos surrounds them. Father Paolo, a psychiatrist, believes that he can cure Hee Joon with medical intervention meanwhile Father Andrea performs exorcisms on the boy.”

Song Hye Kyo plays the role of Sister Junia. Jeon Yeo Been comes as Sister Michaela, Lee Jin Wook as Father Paolo, Heo Joon Ho as Father Andrea, and Moon Woo Jin as Hee Joon. The K-movie is directed by Kwon Hyeok Jae.

Regarding her upcoming film Dark Nuns, Song commented, “I’m not a huge fan of the occult genre, but my mother really likes it a lot, so I was familiar with it from a young age. … I was excited about discovering a new side of myself through completing this challenge.”

Elle Korea’s September issue also reports she shared, “I am especially fortunate to be surrounded by good adults. Life isn’t always happy, and during tough times, I think the adults around me always guided me well onto a good path. That’s why I always strive to be a good adult myself.”
