On the same day, Hyun Bin’s Newsroom interview was also rescheduled. JTBC stated, “The Newsroom interview with Hyun Bin and director Woo Min Ho, originally set for 6:30 p.m., has been postponed and will air at a later date.”

Hyun Bin and director Woo Min Ho had pre-recorded the interview to promote their film Harbin. However, JTBC decided to delay the broadcast, considering the gravity of the situation.

Earlier on the morning of December 29, a plane arriving from Bangkok veered off the runway while landing at Muan International Airport in Mangun-myeon, Muan County, South Jeolla Province. The Jeju Air flight 7C2216, which departed from Bangkok, was scheduled to arrive at 8:30 a.m. The aircraft carried a total of 181 people, including 175 passengers and six crew members.

According to authorities, as of now, there are 151 confirmed fatalities, two injuries, and 28 individuals whose condition status remains unconfirmed.

Jeju Air issued a statement saying, “We deeply apologize to all those affected by the Muan Airport accident. We will make every effort to manage the aftermath of the incident. We are truly sorry for the concern this has caused.”
